Kate is employed as a Training Consultant delivering Hairdressing apprenticeship qualifications in the West Wales area.

Training Consultant

Amy Thomas has worked with ISA since August 2011 and employed as a Training Consultant delivering Business apprenticeship qualifications in South East Wales including Team Leader Level 2 and Customer Service Levels 2 & 3. Amy is also responsible for the delivery and assessment of Essential Skills Wales qualifications at both Levels 1 & 2.

Kath has worked in hairdressing for 26 years and taught hairdressing before joining ISA in May 2009.

“Visiting my learners in their workplace, watching them progress and complete their qualifications” is the part of the job that Kath enjoys most.

Kath was recently appointed Lead TC for the South East Team and is working toward the IV award and NVQ Level 3 Management and is also part of ISA’s Resource Group.

Amy has been hairdressing since she left school and joined ISA in September 2011 following a career as a salon assessor and senior stylist in Carmarthen.
Amy’s immediate career aims are to keep improving her standard of NVQ delivery and to achieve her PTTLS qualification.
Amy loves working for ISA and “feeling as though I’m making a difference to a learners experience to achieve their qualification.”

Sian taught in a college and worked as a Senior Stylist/ Manager before joining ISA in 2007.

Sian delivers Hairdressing and Barbering NVQ’s and Essential Skills, organises Bridgend Training Days and is chair of ISA’s Expert Team.
“Seeing her learners achieve their goals” is the most rewarding part of her role. Sian is a member of the Artistic Team, assisting Short Course delivery and is working towards her Team Leader Qualification.
