Last week in Cardiff City Stadium the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards took place, celebrating excellence in our industry. We were proud to see many of our learners and employers nominated, and even more proud to see some winners.
Junior Stylist of the Year – Yasmin Ali
Our superstar learner Yasmin Ali took home the title of Junior Stylist. After completing her Level 2 Hairdressing qualification, Yasmin progressed on to study Level 2 Barbering. She is excelling in her course and, with this award under her belt, is on track for a successful career.
Bridal Hair Specialist of the Year – Amore Hair Design
After receiving Highly Commended at the 2021 awards, Amore Hair Design rose to first place this year for their expertise in wedding hair. Director of the business, Nikita said “It was such an amazing feeling to win the award. I adore being apart of my brides special days and I feel so grateful to have this recognition.”
Would you like to work at an award winning salon? Amore Hair Design are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Hair apprentice.
Beauty Salon of the Year – Beau Belle
For the fourth year running, Beau Belle have held the title of Beauty Salon of the Year. This award reflects the excellence of the services they deliver. Employing multiple apprentices, they demonstrate an amazing commitment to the development of their staff.
They said: “The award is continually displayed front and centre in our salon. We believe it helps to reflect our ethos, which is to ensure a customer first approach and offer a best class service. Every year we strive to achieve this award and have set an extremely high bar indeed having won it several times now.”
Fingers crossed for next year!
Highly Commended – Beauty Salon of the Year – Bliss Beauty
Well done also to Bliss Beauty who received highly commended for the same category. They certainly deserve recognition for the amazing work they do and are a valued employer here at ISA Training.
