Yesterday, the ISA Training team and Ann Nicholas, Educ8Training’s Customer Account Director, hosted an online ISA Connect webinar, which brought together salon managers to provide an overview of how we can support them through tailored Hair and Beauty apprenticeships, details on upcoming skills competitions, and a qualification update from awarding body City & Guilds.
Bringing ISA Connect online provided salon owners with a convenient way to receive high-impact, practical insights without leaving the salon. This was an opportunity to strengthen our collaborative culture by allowing salon owners to ask any questions they had and reminding them that support is easily available.
The webinar included a variety of updates and observations:
- Ann Nicholas, Customer Account Director at Educ8 Training, kicked off the webinar with a strong opening.
- Donna Bowen Anderson, Senior Customer Relationship Manager at ISA Training, delivered an informative update on our schools’ provision, Elev8, and our Jobs Growth Wales+ programme.
- Blaise Llewellyn from Marooned Hair joined us as a guest speaker, sharing her inspirational journey from ISA Training learner to salon manager and how she is currently training the salon’s next generation of stylists.
- ISA Training Trainer Coach Kim Williams provided some helpful details on the many beauty qualifications that are available and shared details on the benefits of taking part in skills competitions.
- Alice Weekly, ISA Training Programme Manager, offered informative updates on the hair qualification modules.
- The webinar finished with a Q&A session.
